Yes. IQ doesn't matter, GPA doesn't matter, what matters is that I never know what's going on. People are constantly playing tricks on me, laughing at me, or treating me like I'm incompetent. I never know what I'm supposed to do. I'm always confused. I'm definitely a dumbass.
I hate bullies. People who are mean to you don't deserve your respect or care. I had terrible social skills as a child but I almost never got directly bullied because I wasn't socially skilled enough to see that I was being bullied, or when I did notice I didn't care. People usually bully to make themselves feel better than you, which probably means that they have low self esteem, so it's not very hard to turn the tables on them if you've got some nerve.
Once some girls were laughing at me in Junior High (I never found or why or cared), and I just looked at them with an expression that probably looked something like "What the f**k do you want?" and they got quiet really quick and never did it again. Another time there were a group of guys teasing me on the bus from a few seats in front of me and when it got time to get off I walked up to the person who seemed to be the leader and said something like, (I don't remember exactly) "Get in my face the next time you want to say something mean instead of doing it across the bus with a bunch of friends," and he never did it again either. I find that indifference to taunts and aggression towards physically harmful or disruptive bullying is usually enough to stop bullies. Show them from the beginning that you're willing to put more into the fight than they are and they will back down.
But sometimes teasing is friendly. If the people who tease you act like your friends at other times then they are probably teasing you in a friendly way. I got plenty of that when I was younger but I didn't mind so much because I knew that they were my friends. They always quit if they saw I was getting upset and if they didn't then they weren't my friends anymore.
