I've been consistently having problems concentrating on any one thing for quite some time... college assignments are the worst, I can never remain on task for longer than five minutes, but even when I'm listening to radio shows that I'm really interested in I somehow tend to think about what I'll be doing in the future. I often find myself having to rewind and reprocess an event in my head because at the time it happened I was in the clouds (which, of course, creates more problems with the present). I think this might be happening due to emotional issues, as the thoughts usually have to do with what's emotive (e.g. "I'm going to send an email to say how frustrating that guy is!")

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Have you been getting enough sleep? Lack of sleep can cause this condition, so get some rest. :tired:

It's variable... lately I've been sleeping some hours in the day and some just before the night. Lack of concentration isn't variable, though.

What is the quality of your sleep though?
