I don't remember, but my parents tell me that I started to speak with 1,5 years, immediately in complete and correct sentences.

I think I started speaking around the same time as you and very quickly in complete sentences. My parents were delighted, not realising of course that this is an Aspergers trait. My sister, who is NT also spoke quite early.

I was the same. I started very early and would talk as if I was a lot older, apparently.

A fat lot of good that did me, in hindsight.

i spoke my first word at 7 months. supposedly my first word was "chocolate" in english. followed closely by "give me" in spanish. i find this difficult to believe but that is what my mother and older siblings have always told me. apparently i hadn't done much babbling before then.

by the time i was 12 months old i could speak in complete sentences in both english and spanish, with a stronger vocabulary than my sister who was four years older. i rarely did so, though. i seemed to have little interest in speaking to anyone around me. i mostly spent my time in my crib entertaining myself. i only communicated when i needed/wanted something.

my siblings and i all had precocious speech development though. i'm the only aspie as far as i know. my little sister is 8 years younger than me and she started speaking much the same way at 10 months. nothing much, then all the sudden she was speaking well and nonstop.

Not sure exactly. I know it was at the late end of the normal range, and that I spoke a few words then lost speech completely for a couple of months.

My first word was "mom" at the age of 4 months, at least what I've been told.

I used a few more words as time went by, until the age of 2 when I went mute for a whole year. I barely spoke a word during that time.

And I had this problem with limited vocabulary; each time I learnt a new word, I lost a previous one I knew. It got better as I grew older.

I said my first word ("look") when I was 6 months.

Walked late though.

same here, the irony of it all was the fact I was able to sing before I spoke.

I was late also, fives years old. I would lie in my bed from the age of three, rocking and singing myself to sleep. I was able to sing yet I couldn't talk.

I don't know really. I think I was pretty average with speech development.

I walked rather late too. Also, I taught myself reading - we don't know when exactly, but I was able to read with 4.

When I was five. I was saying single words when I was two though but they weren't real words. I could say no and that was about it and at age three I could say "a done" for all done and say "take him" when I try and get rid of my little brother. I started to talk correctly at age six because I was easier to understand but I still had speech problems.

I started walking around fourteen months.

Soke early (can't remember exactly), started reading really young too. I've been told I sang a lot more than talked.
