Ideas on what? I am not a mind reader! I also prefer to avoid the Facebook empire. I have never had an account with them, and don't plan on ever doing so. I also rarely click on links to it. From what I've read about FB, they have a policy of violating the privacy of people. I prefer not to reward them with any clicking at pages on their site.

jcanico, many people neither have nor want a Facebook account as questor has said and in any case, having joined WP - why not just ask your question here for the benefit of other WP members?
There is no reason to direct them to an external site to do what can be done here on WP.

Unfortunately I have a facebook account. But, I just don't have much to do with it anymore because those people on there and I have nothing in common. A lot of those people on facebook are cruel and can care less. The only think these people for the most part do is post vile, nasty images and curse like sailors. I've had to block some of those so-called friends on there because they didn't have a decent bone in their bodies and didn't care if they hurt your feelings or not. They don't even know what the meaning of communications is either, in otherwords ignoring each other is the norm.

However, I feel very comfortable here on Wrong Planet because there are people just like me. I feel like my place is right here on Wrong Planet.

I also became suspicious of facebook private policy part too, some time again. When I would send private messages to others on there, this horoscope app would read me like a book as if someone was prying into my private messages. Otherwise that horoscope app was off so far it wasn't even funny. So I started using my email and other ways to communicate privately.

I have a Facebook account and don't want to click it either.
