I very often (daily, especially in the evening/night) sit down in the chair by my desk, listen to one song on repeat, fidget with something (a pen right now), stare at the wall and think about things. Sometimes I don't even know what I'm thinking about (not even sure I think about something), I sort of just zone out. I really like it. It makes me calm.

Anyone know why I do it and does anyone else do this?

I do it too. I find it really relaxing. It seems to give my brain a break in a way. I say no harm no foul.

I do it too. It is quite relaxing to just play with my hands listen to a nice song over and over, and look at a picture or something and just well, relax. :)

Yes. I used to think it was me going insane... however now I am greatly comforted when I go "sensory only" mode. Hard to explain, but I think you all have done better than me!
