For me it's this smilie: =.= Once in a while i find a smilie I really like and use it over and over. I tend to use them in my own way. I've kind of noticed this just now because I remember it was DX before and a long time ago I would use o.o all the time because it was so cute.

I can't think of any of my other obsessions.

But what about you? I mean temperary ones, not ones you have always obsessed over. I'm talking about well, sub-obsessions that you obsess over for a certain period of time and then get bored and discover another new obsession or whatever...if that makes sense?

A new hunting dog. There is so much to research, breeds, breeders, lineage, ways to train, plans to make. My last dog died a few weeks ago so it's helping me not think about her. It's driving my wife mad though because it's all I talk about.

Bionicles is my latest in a long line of obsessions.

Also, Uglydolls. Practically my only consistent obsession.

Currently I am obsessing over apartments...I have looked at every single apartment in every single apartment website in my hometown. I cant actually go to the apartments and inspect them visually, as I am still out of town, but I have been studying floorplans religiously. For some reason I need to have the perfect place, even though I dont plan on having much company ever, and all I need is a place to eat and sleep. I've also been working out the dimensions in my head, trying to arrange my meagre amount of furniture in my head for the best fit in each apartment.

Anyways, I know when I get home Ill probably just pick the first one that doesnt look like a crack den.

Golf -- Equipment, swing techniques
Music -- Tweaking a set list of songs to play, harmony arrangements, writing original stuff
AS -- New fascination

And, of course, some of the old standards. I tend to cycle my obsessions. 2-3 at a time is about average, usually one looming large over the others.

I guess it counts as my latest obsession, but I've been obsessed getting rid or hiding all modern things in my room.

I made a box for my alarm clock with holes for the speaker and projection (I found a clock that projects the time on the wall), a box with a closing front to hide my TV and Computer, got rid of my lamps, replaced the main light with a fake candle chandelier. I made a pendulum clock for the wall so I can see what time it is during the day.
