Hi guys,

I get really really really REALLY nervous when I have to introduce myself in class, during a workshop. I go to university, so I have a lot of workshops. And ususally the first workshop meeting everyone has to introduce him/herself by telling where they are from, their name, hobbies, etc etc. Just the basic little things. Everytime a teacher says: 'now, let's introduce us to eachother first' my throat just gets really dry and my stomach starts tingling. I litterally cannot think of anything else until is my turn to introduce myself. And afterwards I think: they must have though I was really akward (or something)...

Does anyone else have this problem?

I don't know if it's just a sign of social anxiety, because I am not sure if I have aspergers, but I was curious... :)

Hmmm, well I never have that. I'm very much the opposite to most people. The more people who are there to hear me speak, the more confident I get. I love giving talks :D

But yeah, most people are not like me lol.

kinda. when i try to introduce myself, i often get very nervous / anxious (i can never tell which or what the difference is). i never know what to say.

Once i know a person i'm a little better - less nervous but i just generally say random things that make people think im wierd.
