By grand, I mean, a variety - not excluding sadness e.g. but just wholesome. By category I mean anything concrete: activity, art, genre etc.

For me it's video games: RPGs, specifically. Best thing that happened to my life. <3

I agree with your post in its entirety. Certain TV shows also provide a much needed outlet for me too. And reading. :)

Hands down - instant access to information. It gives me goosebumps every time I think about waiting 2 months for some reference work to make its way to me, through the library system.

The internet. No question.

The cleanest my house has ever been was when I first got online and would dart around the house and in and out of the office, doing little chores, while waiting for a page to load - and being positively ecstatic about it only taking an hour!! I was in HEAVEN!!

The Internet. The internet taught me a lot, I read about so much stuff and self-educated myself on so many different things. I also helped my social life as well, and helped me to learn about socializing from a theory standpoint. I made online friends and this forum. In turn that helped me in my real life. I dont know what I would have done without the internet.

mmm, the internets, academia, and alcohol. The internets taught me that I could tolerate a lot more people than I ever thought I could, academia taught me that there are places where people I actually like congregate in decent quantities, and bars gave me some feeling of acceptance and normalcy I have yet to find anywhere else.
