is there any treament or certain types of food/supplements that can help lessen some of the symptoms of aspergers?

Generally no. The only way I can think of such a thing having a positive effect is if you have a dietary deficiency that exaggerates some of your autistic traits. Then again, it would be the same for a neurotypical with the same deficiency, so the dietary changes would not be treating autism, but rather the deficiency.

I don't know - but omega 3's are good for brain health, generally - especially mood disorders. There are reputable studies - have a google. I take omega 3's, vitamin d and vitamin c. If you are on blood thinners you have to be careful of omega 3''s as they have some blood thinning properties - I would ask a pharmacist and do a little reading. Certainly, if you are depressed, not eating well, and indoors a lot - you might benefit. If you have no contraindications - omegas might be a 'safe and worth a try' supplement. If you like salmon and other natural sources - that's another way. I buy at Costco.

I take loads of really good vitamins and supplements, have done for a long time now, and it hasn't changed me a bit.
