My bosses boss is a very touchy feely guy and "smacks" people on the shoulder and uses this as his sign of affection or respect I suppose or to assert power at times.

At any rate, today I spoke to my boss and told her I found it inappropriate and asked to have it stopped. She looked at me and I could tell she was either not happy or upset... or some kind of negative emotion over it. I felt embarrassed but I don't want him touching me.

I don't know him well, rarely deal with him and do not feel comfortable with him. But by my bosses reaction I am now feeling vulnerable and I am upset and worried this could result in some kind of negative action towards me. Any thoughts? Was I right/wrong to speak up? Am I in any danger of backlash?

You're fine bro! :D

She was probably just confused and wondering why you came to her with it. Try saying something like "I have a bad back, please don't slap me..." or something like that to him next time and that should fix your problem!

Don't sweat it 8)

You're right and I know you're right... but I can't get it out of my head. I need to focus on calming down. I will probably be okay once I get out of the office.
