Who is your favorite aspie, or supposed Aspie? Post the name and wether they have been diagnosed, or it's supposed.

Hmmmm... I'm not quite certain. There's a lot of famous Aspies I admire for the abilities/contributions... like Einstein or DaVinci...

One person who I suspect is Aspie and who I'm a big fan of is Rowan Atkinson. I'd probably choose him. I'm a big fan of Black Adder and Mr. Bean. :)

And for those wondering, I'm not talking about the Bean character he plays. I'm talking about Rowan, himself.

That's interesting, I didn't know he was a possible aspie but the other day I was thinking to myself that "Watching the Wheels" and "Working Class Hero" have some good pro-aspie lyrics.

My vote is for John Young, astronaut and 9th man to walk on the moon (very possible aspie based on the book Moon Dust).

da Vinci - I came across a book at work this week, "The Collected Drawings of Leonardo da Vinci." My god! This man was incredible!

Ooh, sounds cool. I've been wanting to find a book of his collected drawings. Especially his anatomical drawings.

Bill Gates - I spend hours and hours per day on the Internet, and without him that wouldn't have been possible. Great Aspie.

My teacher had one...Idon't remember the title. It was cool. until she saw me reading it, and took it away saying it was inappropriate. Then why did she even have it out?

Frank Zappa seems autistic in some ways. I watched a documentary on him yesterday with commentary by Dweezil Zappa and STEVE VAI(! !!) among others...

Vai could have AS because of his obsessive practise routines(up to 30 hours!! !) when he was younger, but his social skills, at least as I can see from interviews etc doesn't indicate this.
