Hi All,

I can't find that this particular test has been posted before, I think it may be relatively recent:

http://www.microexpressionstest.com/mic ... ions-test/

I'm not sure how valid it is either since it looks to be produced by a commercial company as a marketing tool. But I did it anyway for the sake of fun and curiosity and I got a measly 4% even though I thought I was pretty good at facial expressions. I wondered if I'd done particularly badly, or if it's just an intentionally awkward test. So here it is I guess! I can't think of a better place to test it.

hmm, 4%, trough pure luck
as with most of these tests, half of the questions didn't have the "right" answer as a posibility, so i took the 3rd best thing as first pickm then i went into guessing...

strangly, i had a lot of emotions exactly on the wrong side (happy-disgust, fear-surprise...), and the one time i didn't consider neutral an option, the right answer was neutral...

Zero, but I question the validity of the test; it's obviously meant to sell things.

22% on the second attempt, unknown on the first since Noscript was blocking the results. Still though, I thought I would have done better than I did.

2% on the second attempt, with four or five correct after missing the first one or two guesses.

Noscript blocked the results for my first attempt, in which I had two correct after two wrong guesses each.

I agree with Callista though.

It isn't working properly on my Android tablet.

I'll have another go on the laptop, later.

I wonder what kind of score someone who is not autistic would get. I'd be willing to accept it to some extent if I can see that people who haven't taken their training could reliably score 30-50% at least.

I got 2 percent and the right answers I got were from guessing.

In that mind in the eyes test I did much better but then it was still images with a shorter list of choices to choose from. With actual movement and a much longer list of possible choices I didn't really know what to pick and was mostly just guessing.

Also, these are micro expressions in which someone is mostly expressionless and the emotion flickers across their face very briefly, as in a fraction of a second.

I judge this test to only be some actors trying to act some parts of a microexpression they have been told to show, not actually feeling the feeling. ..and also, it seems obvious it is made to sell something. I scored 2% by the way, and I have read about microexpressions alot, and seen the tv series "lie to me" which is based on real microexpression research (which doesn't mean I should score great, but that is the only reason I managed to get 2% instead of 0% when I saw "disgust" once).
