Diagnosed. Now what?
So now that I have an official diagnosis what's next? I have just as many problems as I had yesterday. Now, just a professional agrees with me that I have no social life or any friends, I have an issue with eye contact, semi-monotone voice, have a huge need for schedules of sorts or routine and I make faces when I'm trying to concentrate when someone is talking. Now I'm a bipolar aspie. Great.

Well, now you can try to improve your plight by trying to make your behavior and communication style more normal. At least you now know what you do wrong. I am not saying it will ever be easy, but you can change. Showing interest in other people and letting them talk about themselves is a good first step. I would also try a little eye contact. While doing it, try to study what their eyes are telling you and try to see how often they actually look at you. I think you will find that most people do not give as much eye contact as you think they do. Thus, it should be easier for you to mimic it to some degree, or at least look in someone's direction so that they think you are listening to them. This will not change overnight. It may take many years of trying and failing before you succeed, but it can happen.
