I'd last as long as they'd keep me there, just don't know if I'd get invited back in the future.

It seems very neat and orderly. I think I would like it.

Don't understand the question. I was assuming most people like to eat, unless they are dieting which would require some self control.

My family? Mum, dad, sister and me?

Did that growing up all the time.

People I don't know (that's anyone other than the three above)? Scurries away into the attic with a plateful and a cup.

They don't look unpleasant (but looks can be deceiving) so umm... yeah I'd be able to go the distance. However, with my family, I usually get through the main course and then have to go lay down with my laptop. I just can't sit at a table that long if politeness does not warrant it. With family, they won't fail to invite me back for not sitting through dessert.

I'm mostly fine if we are doing something like walking or, eating, because I can have a short break whenever I want.

Looks inviting to me.
Very orderly ; neat, not too cosy, doesn't look like a noisy setting, not too many people or loud distractions.

I'd assume these people would speak the same language as you.

I am certainly not The Mentalist, but on that photo the mother seems like her mind is elsewhere, like the man has done something to annoy her and she is distancing herself from the man. It looks like the father and son have arranged some fun event and the mother isn't too pleased about it. I can't see the daughter's face but it looks like she's trying to work out who's side she should take.

Fascinating, and surprising, responses so far. I was always under the impression that folks on the spectrum usually tried their level best to avoid social gatherings such as this at all costs. Maybe I'm just a whack job, but me sitting with that family would be a terrifying ordeal. It'd be the same thing if I was suddenly dropped in an employee party or get together. The only way I'd go is with a 9mm pointed to my throat. Isn't that horrible?

What are they eating?
Scrambled egg? or pasta?
Is that a cold green salad they're eating with it?
If it's pasta and the reddish stuff is pasta sauce then why hasn't anyone mixed it into their food?
If it's tomato sauce, then there seems to be way too much.
Besides, I'd want chilli sauce. Would they mind?
Why is the mans knife on his left while his glass is on his right?
Why do both the males have shirts under their long-sleeved shirts?... While the females are wearing short-sleeved tops? -is it warm or cold? i.e: What should I wear?
The light behind the table is WAY too bright for me. I'd need to wear sunglasses.

Doesn't look natural to me (Maybe it's just staged for a catalogue?)
:?

I wouldn't stay at all. Look, they didn't even set me a place.

With that amount of food, I'd deck them all and have the whole table of food eaten in 5 minutes! Whatabuncha lightweights!

Or I could just let them eat in piece and go get some Mickey D's...

I'd probably be okay if it was my family, if it was a group of people I didn't know too well then I would have found an excuse to leave before they had even started.

Are they even using cutlery? I wouldn't be able to eat with them due to my extreme social anxiety.
