This is a serious issue within me, and this will be a long post, so here I go.
----
I have anger issues. Let's begin where I went wrong, starting with high school and going chronologically forward:
- Threatening to throw a heavy tape dispenser at my sister
- Yelling racist epithets at random people
- Breaking off the branch of a school tree
- Thinking about throwing a small rock at one of the windows of my HS (thankfully, that never came to pass)
- Hitting my parents out of anger
- Being call the 'anti-Christ' by my own vice principal in HS
- Getting in to various fist-fights with people
-----
And that's only the beginning. To summarize: I, for some unearthly reason, get angry for no good reason; I have a VERY short fuse. Why is this the case within me?

A few years back, I forgot, I angrily hit myself on the head with a baseball bat until my face was broken....... and now I have no way to control my anger.

I find that being on the computer usually helps me space out in away that helps me calm down. I say "usually" because if I find something on the internet that upsets me, that, of course, doesn't help at all.

Listening to music helps me, too.

I had the same problem until recently. I consider myself to be sweet, sensitive and caring but boy did I have a nasty temper. I would never direct it at any person but I would do things such as throw my hockey stick into the (empty) stands tomahawk style, two hand the glass to the point where I'm lucky I never hurt anyone, go completely insane over a petty little thing and take any criticism as a threat to my life. Since I started living a healthier lifestyle I have noticed a sharp decline in my temper. It's still there, but only a fraction of what it used to be. Maybe having a girlfriend now helps to relieve some of that tension too.

See? There's a song for that, too.

i used to be severely angry as well. i used to punch myself in the face, ram my head into walls, punch doors, scratch myself etc. one day it just went away. i still have rare episodes and it tends to be related to absolute frustration about something

You know, when I was in a situation where I overreacted the most, I was emotionally reacting to a cold virus. Weird things like that happen with viruses sometimes.

So, you might want to see if there's some kind of medical issue causing your anger.

May I ask why were yelling racist epithets at people?
Is it because of your issues with anger or do you really have racists feelings towards people.

I know that this question is a bit off topic but I'm just curious.

Just general anger, having a bad day.

Watch this video, and the next time you get angry think of it! If you're still angry after watching this, then my friend I can't help! Have you tried going to anger management classes?

I personally have the opposite issue from you, I almost never get angry. The last time I was truly and visibly angry was a good 3-4 years ago. If you see me mad, it means someone has done something pretty darn serious to me lol.

Removing myself from the situation and distracting myself helps me a lot. Like, ridiculously so.

The fact that I broke my face is a warning sign enough for me here.....
