I would like to create a simple log of some of my experiences with having asperger syndrome. Partly for my own records, so I can learn from my past experiences and mistakes, and partly so that others can read it and hopefully benefit from my notes.

I was hoping to use the blog feature on this site to do this, but it's not working for me at all. I can't get any posts to save. I know I could use an external blog, but that brings in a whole lot of other complications that I'd rather avoid. Would it be acceptable for me to make this log in a simple forum thread like this one? The only thing is, I would really prefer it to be *my* log, and if I make a forum thread it would almost certainly fill up with other peoples' experiences.

Does anyone have a suggestion? I have blogger but I don't want to link this log to that account, and I don't want to manage two accounts if I don't have to. Is there another blog site that might suit my purposes? I suppose I could use tumblr, but I'd rather have something that supports comments. I'd really rather not ever touch livejournal again. Is there another good site for blogs? Or should I just keep a forum thread for now and see how it goes?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Maybe someone can help with this.

It would be great if someone could. I seem to see that others are having similar problems though, and I don't see any solutions. If there is one I'm missing, please do point it out to me. Until then, I'm going to consider various external blogs as possibilities.

Thanks.

I wanted to do something similar, but the blog function here doesn't work for me either and I've also noticed that no-one else seems to use it and that there are a surprising number of content-less blog posts called 'test'. I assumed it was just a generally obsolete feature on WP. I created an external blog instead, but perhaps you could search or post a query in the site admin forum about it?
