Stripped of conspiracy-theory overtones, I felt this described what NT people do to others, on a daily basis. In the simplest terms possible, it might just be the mob mentality, so should be expected wherever large groups of people come together, as a matter of human nature.
This could be seen as manipulative, or it could be seen as the only way, scientifically possible, to engage the hardwired mind.
