i am nearly certain that i have central auditory processing disorder, so i would like to be tested so that i can know if that is really what my hearing problem is. i can hear fine but i can't understand what is being said a lot of the time and have to ask people to repeat themselves. i know that i need to go to an audiologist to get a diagnosis, but i need to know how much that will probably cost to have that testing done. anyone here know about how much that would cost? also, anyone here have capd and been though the testing process? any info would be beneficial, thanks.

Don't know what the American’s are like with not paying for something coz of certain conditions apply - and since it say's collage on your profile - wondering if they have any kind of NHS type thing there?
