What are good web articles that reach out to people with AS?
I have a friend who I think might have AS. Let's just say that when you read a list of symptoms of AS, you feel like you are reading about him. I want him to have a better sense of self awareness since he experiences lots of social problems, but does not understand why. He is, without exaggeration, the nicest, most caring, most warm hearted individual I know. But that is why I feel bad for him when he has such social problems. I want to mention the possibility of AS so perhaps he can better understand himself and learn how to better cope socially. I feel I can't suggest myself and that it is best to let him come to the conclusion himself if he has AS. That is why I want to know of any web articles that reach out to people with AS. Articles that ask questions like "Do you feel different from others?" "do you often say things that people think are rude, but you don't understand why?" "Do people often get upset with you, but you don't understand why?".... questions like that. And then it leads to explaining more about AS .
Any help will be appreciated, because this is going to be a very sensitive topic and I want him to be able to decide for himself. I think that is very important.
I don't know of any articles, but have you considered the Aspie Quiz?

It's maybe a fun way of opening someone's eyes to the possibility, especially if he enjoys psychometric tests.
I have a colleague who adores introspecting and so I forwarded it to her and we both did the test and then compared our results. We got completely different charts at the end (she came out as almost ridiculously NT) and it was just done as a bit of fun and games. It never became a big deal.
On the other hand, if you did share this with him and he did get a high AS score, you'd have to think about what his reaction might be so that you can support him if necessary. That's something I couldn't possibly comment on.
Just a thought anyway, since I noticed you'd had no responses.
