I'm a business student and I will be graduating soon. That means I will be in the job market soon.
Can you describe your experience in the business field as it relates to Aspergers Syndrome? I am very curious to hear of other aspies in this field.
thanks
Ya, I sit at my computer while the girl across from me 'talks in between the lines' about how great socializing is while I sit and stare at my screen all day.
Seriously, I'm almost a mute at work. I dont even have a fun - Thank god Calgary is desperate for workers - I dont think I'd be able to get away with this anywhere else
If you can talk, then you'll be fine for handling business - I can even recommend a wicked book to help you do business - Its SOOO worth the read and if your wallet depends on talking/meeting people, read it!
Dale Carnegie - How to win friends and influence people
I already used some of the "techniques" he talks about (not really techniques, just truths and psychology, really) and they do work (reflecting on my life, I've been good at having people like me (they just dont interact with me much))
