I've had organizational difficulties all my life, especially when it comes to actually making a useful filing system. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good book on the subject?

A filing system for what? Perhaps if you share more about what you want to organize, people here can help?

I am awesome at organizing other people. I just suck horribly at maintaining any kind of organizational system.

The subfolders in my Documents folder are based on the Dewey-Decimal System.

That way, I know where to start looking for articles I've accumulated over the years.

to be honest, I dind't start getting a grip on my organization until my niece came over and super-organized my room :P kinda sad when a 12 year old (even though she's a very mature nt kid, you would've thought she was 15) teaches me how to organize stuff, but she's exceptionally good at something I'm not.

And bf found a book called the messies manual. Obviously I can find the back door and can remember where most things are, but they have really good organizational tips in there. The edition I have of the book though is beyond ancient though. I'm sure they've come out with a bunch of newer editions since then.
