In a weeks time i have got a big meeting at the job centre revolving around my aspergers and what help can be given when i go out into the working world. my mum is coming with me as well.

Last time when i had a meeting at the job centre the interview lady said too me "i would recommend you go too a residental college for people with health issues too give you life skills and prepare you for work" ...... i know though NTs want too remove autistic people from society and put us into these places disregarding our basic human rights because of this whole class system crap

Do you think i should stand up for myself if the lady interview trys too make me go too some residental place for people with mental health problems? Just because i have a very bad temper does not mean that i have too go too some residental home. then again thats just the stigma of having a label like aspergers :(

Difficult to say.

Have you tried other anger management treatments and had any success?

Would the treatment program lead to be a better life?

I don't think residential treatment is a great first choice, but if you've tried other anger management treatments and they haven't worked, it might be a good option.

But people who are not on the spectrum can very get angry but they don't get put in residential housing do they?
