It's often in an Aspies nature to change themselves to be more like those around them, more so than your average high-functing autistic. A big difference I have noticed is that Aspies talk about playing a character/acting to appear like an NT a lot more than autistics.
Just some differences.
IMO, the
only differences between someone with HFA and someone with Asperger Syndrome is the language delays. Someone with Asperger Syndrome can, hypothetically, not have much of a desire to talk to people, and still qualify for an Asperger diagnosis.
