What dosage is best for you actually varies so much from person to person, it's better to just leave that up to your doctor.
Thanks for your reply, I think I will try 100mg daily next and gradually increase the dosage on monthly basis.
Hang on... you DO have a doctor advising you, right? I'm all for the patient and doctor working this kind of thing out together, but adjusting your dosing by yourself really isn't very smart. Even for a doctor, it wouldn't be smart; he would still need another doctor, an uninvolved observer to track the effects.
Please, please call your doctor about this before you mess with your meds. The only time you should ever do this for yourself is if the meds are causing health problems--and then only if you can't get medical care at all or your doctor is literally incompetent. And if that's the case, priority number one should be finding a proper doctor, because needing medical care and not being able to get it is a dangerous situation to be in. Adjusting or changing your own prescription medication, especially something like clomipramine, is something you should only be doing in an emergency--on the order of having to splint your own broken leg because you're hiking in the mountains and you can't call for an ambulance.
