I am about to graduate from college this year. I have been successfully promoted 3 times at my job, I just got an interinship underneath my belt that I can put on my resume where I gained alot of experience. I have a potential job coming up with the Federal Government in a few months. I feel like I am on the vanguard that proves people with AS CAN infact move up in America. Does anybody else have this experience?

sir if i didnt know you were on the spectrum i would have taken that as an insult (look at me im succesful and autistic so you have no excuse)
but knowing you are an aspie i rather interpreted it as (i have aspergers and i can do all of thesse thing but thats not to say you can, and nor is it to say you cant the simple truth is i can but can anyone else?)
my answer is i could have been successful in (Australia) however due to my existential veiws on life and reality i see no point in doing things that i dont enjoy if the only reward is to accumilate wealth.
(but if you feel like doing it then thats cool too, to each his own)
my personal experience has been that certain parts of the NT tailored schooling program is that its NT tailored. (i have many reasons why i dont try to be 'successful')
im naturaly good at puzzles and other such logic based things so why would i apply myself in another feild? why would i throuw away my advantage and instead work towards being successful at something im not designed for?
now i dont know what you do so that last statement could be very poorly worded (also i have the flu and as such am not functioning properly)
nor do i know what your passion is or if you even have one.

something i would like to ask is
1. why do you feel you need to prove anything to anyone ever?
2. are you diagnosed or self diagnosed and if you chose the former when were you diagnosed?

(this entire post was probably gibberish because my brain feels numb)
