I am just wondering if my psychological/neurological conditions all have the same origin.

I have autism, OCD, schizophrenia, dyspraxia, a visual processing disorder, suspected dysgraphia and now they're querying epilepsy. I was also found to be 60% deaf at age two.

I was born premature, only thee weeks early, but I was very underweight even taking that into consideration, and I was in and out of hospitals during my childhood. I have von Willebrand's disease, a stomach ulcer, irritable bowel syndrome, and I had loads of other problems as a child including hydronephrosis and kyphosis.

My question is: is it possible that all of these conditions have a common cause? I'm not asking you to diagnose, I'm just wondering.

Do you think my autism is part of a large developmental (both neurologically and physically) problem?
