However my gut tells me it won't happen.

I stimm obsessively, have no social relations, most of the time.

Have had failed out of school 11 times.

Been fired from 4 jobs, can't get references from two others, and the remainder was 6 weeks of work.

I've had sex about 6 times.

Etc.

I donno I'm rather angry to be honest.

I am curious, why do you think you won't get a DX?

It is not an easy process by any means but finding psychologists, psychiatrists and MD's that specialize in Austism is a GREAT way to start. Even just finding therapist that doesn't specialize but can start helping you work through some of what you are dealing with is HUGELY helpful and NEVER a waste of time.

I was obsessed with finding a diagnosis but I am pretty sure (99.9% that this is what it is) and for now I am just going through the motions to just try and learn some Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy concepts/tactics to help me through what I can change about the Syndrome!

I rarely ever stimmed until recently.
I've never failed anything at school.
I've never been fired.
I have sex a LOT.
And I got a DX.
So, I would't really let anything hold you back from pursuing that.

I am in the queue for diagnosis at the minute. I too am as convinced as I can be that I am on the spectrum but think I need to have that professional opinion to back it up. As I wait to be assessed I am worrying that, while I struggle with a lot in relation to AS, the fact I am married with a full time job etc, I might not be seen as impaired enough to meet the criteria. I may well be over thinking things or worrying for no reason but I think being refused a diagnosis would feel almost like being told that I was making my problems up or something. It's kind of hard to explain but the sooner I get assessed the better.
