...and where are they?

I have a crown one, which isn't centre, it's on the left, and two at the front hairline, one on each side.

I always have at least two. They look ridiculous and I love them. Sometimes I get two on one side when I part my bangs unevenly...

some members may not know what a whorl is
a Hindu friend says Indians put much faith in how whorls at birth dictate how a person will be
I have one, slightly back, slightly right of crown

It's hard to see mine, due to the curly wurly nature of my hair. But, if I part my hair, it likes to sit slightly off centre, to the right. I also have a cow's lick, which is at the front right of my head. This isn't noticeable, because of the curls, but could be seen when I had a fringe (bangs).

My curiosity was roused by this and it's possible connection to ASDs, so I've googled it a bit and was reminded of someone. There was a little girl in my daughter's nursery class with a double crown, which was really noticeable. The head teacher knew I spoke to the girl's Mum and asked me if the little girl spoke, as she had never heard her speak in nursery. She did speak, but not in complete sentences and she spoke very quietly, in a very babyish voice, and I couldn't understand anything she said. I wonder now if she was investigating if the girl might be on the spectrum (she never mentioned the double crown BTW). The Mum was very shy and the only person she ever spoke to was me. At least, I assumed she was shy, but come to think of it, she probably was on the spectrum. I invited her to my house for a play date and hoped she'd relax, with it just being us there. But, it was uncomfortable for me, when I'm usually good, on a one to one basis. She seemed to be really nervous, but I'm sure she was struggling with the conversation.

For anyone who doesn't know and hasn't Googled, it's a "cow lick".

I have two. One on either side, at the edge of my hairline on my neck.

There is a conjecture that it hair whorls may be related to handedness. What evidence is there about a possible link to Autism and Aspergers?

If you Google, there are various studies and information. You might need to play around with how you input the search term to get the right stuff.

I wouldn't know - my hair is too thick. However many I've got, it's got nothing to do with me being an Aspie.

One right on the top back of my head and one on the right side. I just buzz my hair, I can't do much else with it.

Two, I think. I'm not entirely sure I understand the concept.

My hair grows in weird ways just in general. Hair on the right side of my head is slightly thicker grows slanted towards the front of my head. The hair on the left slants towards the back side. So, when I wake up in the morning it looks like my head has been at the center of a very small tornado during the night.

Mine's all over the place. The only time it is flat is after taking a shower while it is still wet.

I really need a haircut.

brad pitts hair http://www.stylisheve.com/brad-pitt-hair-2012/ is okay and he has a couple, one in front
but he has grown it right out and keeps it weighted with nourishing oils
I used to use grapeoil [not grapeseed] its very fine and keeps it healthy but mostly manageability of long hair was achieved
you need to get though that 6 monmth period with it all over the place before it has its own weight
