Well, I am an Aspie, I said that when I joined....
My four year old brother was just diagnosed with Autism..
I heard that its common to have multiple Auties in a family, but the catch in my situation is that my brother and I are from different fathers, and my mother doesn't seem like she's autistic.
My doctor says that is strange, since it doesn't usually happen with half-siblings.
I'm not sure if this goes here, but I wanted to share it...
Autism does manifest a bit differently in girls than in boys, and, on average, we sometimes can cover it up better. Also, keep in mind that as we get older, we learn more about how to navigate the NT world. She could seem NT to you, but still be on the spectrum herself.
