Anyone else have this? My apartment is always a mess, but I can't stand having a dirty bathroom/shower/kitchen, though a very dirty stove or a slightly dirty floor seems fine.

I have excellent hygiene and watch my clothing regularly. The only reason I don't screw up anything big due to being disorganized is because I use my iphone effectively to run my life (keep track of appointments, take facsmiles of receipts and some important documents, etc.). It's like, for me, neat and clean are totally distinct concepts. Because I am definitely not neat, probably bad even for high-functioning autism. Yet I am cleaner than most NT's. Can anyone identify?

My main concern is, if I am disorganized but still perfectly functional with getting places on time and getting my work done, is there any reason to get organized? Will being more habitually organized like NT's improve other areas of my life even if I see no immediate practical consequences for not caring?
