And I mean more than normal? I am 18 and I have a tendancy to daydream obsessively during the day and it has gotten a lot of reactions from other people to think that I am "Slow" in a sense. I would like to know if other Aspies do this as well and have gotten this reaction.

Constantly. You wouldn't believe how often people have described me as being "off in his own little world."

When I was a kid, I would drive tractors or other farm equipment in the summer at least twelve hours a day six days a week (seven days a week during wheat harvest).

That's really conducive to daydreaming. My daydreams usually involved not driving a tractor.

I daydream at basically any point in time when I do not have something else to keep me focused. So all the time.

I daydream constantly. I feel more at home in my imaginary world than I do in the real world.

Emphatically: yes.

Well documented on my report cards and now so many years later cause me occasional embarrassment as I drift off in public places. I just 'go away' into my head. I like Edgar Allan Poe's quote: Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things that escape those who dream only at night.

I daydream continuously, I find it difficult to even carry on a conversation sometimes because I'm in the middle of a daydream and I don't want to stop thinking about it.

 yes......see name and stated location. People have described me as being "in my own little world" on report cards from preschool to end of primary school, I've also been called a daydreamer or reported as/my mom been told that I daydream too much, called "space girl" meaning spacey, "butterfly" because I just float around with my "head in the clouds" etc and yes I've been called slow. These people are all right....well I am slow (processing speed problems) and I have a lovely fantasy world all of my own where I preferred to spend almost all of my time as a child and adolescent and where I still spend quite a lot of time now.

I daydreamed when I was younger. There are more nightmares during the day now . . .

Oh, I've always been a daydreamer....I was a daydreamer all thru my childhood, and I'm a daydreamer as an adult. My daydreaming started as a child as a way for me to "take leave" of situations I found frightening or uncomfortable if I was unable to leave them physically, and these days I even daydream at the most unexpected times without even realizing it. I can''t tell if that's supposed to be a bad or a good thing.

At about 1 1/2 miles per hour and fields a mile long, it would generally be about 40 minutes between turns.
