Nope im not joking! I got my radiation pill today and so now aim officially radio active.
Sadly I will not glow in the dark also no human physical contact for 5 days ( I think I can manage that )
I have strict guidelines I have to follow here they are
[quote]Minimize contact (less than 3 feet or 0.6 meter for more than 1 hour each day) with everyone for the first five days, and with small children or pregnant women for eight days.
Do not sit next to someone in an automobile for more than one hour.
Sleep in a separate room and use separate bath linen and launder these and underclothing separately for one week.
Wash your hands with soap and plenty of water every time you use the toilet.
Rinse the sink and tub thoroughly after using them.
Use separate eating utensils or disposable eating utensils. Wash eating utensils separately for one week. Do not prepare food for others.
Flush toilet 2-3 times after use for two weeks after discharge.[quote]
My doctor said 6 feet minimal. Also all tissues must be flushed and all my trash needs to be isolated and kept aside for 8 weeks before being disposed of and my clothes and blankets kepts aside for 8 weeks then washed seperate from others as for my pets
Nim is spending the night with Pat then I will be taking care of her with lots of no cuddling safe guards.
Lothlorien is going to spend the week with Pat's (my fiance) aunt Debbie! Yay <3
Oh and no hospital stay. I even got to go home right after. S far I'm just tired and not wanting to speak. My tounge also feels kinda odd

If I may ask, why do you need to take radiation pills? Do you have cancer?
Well, no matter what illness you have, I am very, very sorry. I have always liked you as a WrongPlanet member and it saddens me to know that you are ill.

At least you are being positive about it. A positive attitude goes a long way towards recovery. You are certainly a lot braver than I would be in your situation!
