I often find myself in a position that resembles Mr. Burns from the Simpsons. I try to be concious of it but am often in that position in pictures when Im not paying attention.
By Mr Burns Hands I mean arms up but wrists bent downward at a weird angle.. I dont know how to post pics for any of you who arent too familiar with the simpsons...
Anyone else?

I'm always holding my hands up like in that picture, but not with my hands pointed down. I'm usually fidgety and either pulling at my fingers or doing "hand washing" motions.

I do the same thing and I do the thing where Mr Burn touched the fingertips of both hands together and says "excellent"

Yes, I often hold my hands how Mr Burns does in the picture. It's just comfortable... even if people do occasionally laugh at me for my "kangaroo impression".

Sometimes I do the fingertips together position too - that one got me the nickname of "Monty" for a few weeks once.

I made myself quit doing that same thing a while back.

Doesn't that hurt your hands? The very thought of doing that makes me cringe and actually doing is is painful for me.. Cuts off some important blood vessels and nerves, etc.

I'm the woman on Seinfeld who didn't swing her arms when she walked.
Or I'm Gerry from Boston Legal.
Or my arms swing wildly around.

That reminds me: only one of my arms swings when I walk. Can't remember which one though.

Sometimes I hold my arms like that, sometimes I hold them straight down but don't move them, sometimes I swing them. I have no method to my movements, although I think a lot of this is left over from conscious attempts to change how I walked in the past - trying to learn how to let my arms hang down and swing while I walked. I never quite got the hang of it, but I still sort of do it... sometimes.

I did that for awhile, then stopped ten years ago because I was spanked for doing it.

I know, I have daddy issues 8)

Comes naturally to me doesn't pain. Palm goes further down if I push it without pain. Sorry about the quality.. I used my webcam..

HaHa!
Someone YEARS ago asked me why I sometimes "hold my hands like a squirrel"
I was doing exactly what you're talking about and never realized it until it was pointed out.
