i grew up with an overly sarcastic brother. I don't find sarcasm flying over my head that much. I jokingly refer to him as the King of Sarcasm and myself as the Crown Prince.. I did have a problem with being sarcastic myself. Be careful how you use it as some people will view it as negative.

I get sarcasm sometimes, but miss it often enough.

I don't have any issues understanding sarcasm. I have a lot of sarcastic friends, and I am quite sarcastic myself.

I'm quite sarcastic, but I can rarely tell if someone is being sarcastic with me. If I know them well, it's easier for me to figure it out.

If I'm not expecting it, there's often a lag time -- "Hmm, that was an odd thing for them to say... Oh, oh, I get it. Ha ha."

This.

And sometimes I choose not to understand sarcasm, especially if it is a person whom I don't like. I think I intend to punish them by deliberately taking them word for word. Could it be called anti-sarcastic sarcasm?

Later addition:
I have to admit that my reasoning above makes little sense. This time it is not a language-related problem, but the logic itself fails. It happens to me quite often in life – I observe something written, then I comment on it, somehow inverting the original sense to be the opposite. Then what I intend to be an opposite comment does nothing but corroborates the original. Ok, never mind, it's just me.

My dad is very sarcastic and I am also - it tends to be easier to expect when people change the tone of their voice to make it sound longer and more dramatic.
When people just make a dry comment without making it obvious I can never get it and I get laughed at when that happens.
Good thing that I find it amusing myself and laugh along too.

I don't dislike sarcasm, but I hate people who use it as a guise to insult me.

I can't tell the difference between Sarcastic and Sardonic, but I can often tell if someone is being sarcastic.

I can't tell if people are being truthful though, so I assume most things are sarcastic if they are positive.

I know in person but struggle if its sms or email.

For example I nearly wrote "no" as my reply. Being sarcasm but without a sarcasm font this is a problem for me at times.

I vote sometimes. I am not sure how good I am at it but I know I have gotten better at it. I can detect it better online now and in movies.

As a kid, I was the most gullible. Now I've been lied to enough that I automatically assume I'm being lied to. Then sarcasm sets off the alarm because it matches the opposite of the truth. BOOM. Sarcasm detector armed and dangerous.
