While watching Mozart and the Whale recently, I noticed the character Isabelle walking backwards to face someone talking behind her. I don't know if this was intended to acknowledge one of her AS traits, but I wonder about it because I used to do that all the time. It was interesting because I was actually less clumsy when I walked backwards than forwards. I was walking backwards with my dad and stepmother one day, and Dad said that I should have been a reporter/journalist because I was so good at it. I could be walking backwards and look at someone while I was interviewing them. An Aspie trait or just something unique to me?
Well I know with ice skating I am much much better going backwards than forwards. I can walk pretty good backwards but I am still clumsy so I suppose that's relative.
