I've seen this video before, it seems all the customers aside from the mean one were in support of the autistic boy and his family.
Only in a New Jersey diner... The customers argue with the mean man in defense of the family.
These are paid actors.
Yet it would be interesting to see various other different situations that are similar in nature and how people handle them.
Some parts of NJ have Autism clusters.

I think they should repeat the experiment without actors (including the 14 year old actor).
I still believe it is something different if a "normal" person acts this way than someone who naturally is like that, I believe that non-autistic people have a different "aura"/are being perceived in a different way than autists.

I would be pissed if someone touched my food, special needs or not. Then what pisses me off is how everyone acted like it was totally acceptable because of his autism. Damn I wish my mother let me get away with s**t in my childhood and find it all okay. When I touched these two girl's brownies at a Starbucks coffee place when I was five years old, mom kicked my ass for it. (not literally of course) She made me look at it and pointed at where I touched it and told me "You do not touch other peoples foods." then she let me eat it when we left. I am sure she apologized to the girls and bought them another brownie. Why my mother made me wait until we left and then let me eat it is a mystery to me. I wonder if anyone ever found my inappropriate behavior acceptable? My special ed teacher seemed to find it okay for me to shriek at school because one boy in her class did it and she thought it was something I normally did despite that I didn't do it the year before because no one shrieked in class. But once my mother found out I was doing that at school, she and my dad got me out of that class so quick but it took them a few months and I was placed in my new school in regular ed.

I'm glad that people stuck up for the family. I have had people try to give me problems because of my children. I will not tolorate it and will become I guess mean would describe it.

It's good for changing views, but the only problem with tests like that only show acceptance within a very small area. If the experiment was done somewhere else, results could have been drastically different.
