Highly gifteds have something like 40 to 60% rate of allergies/asthma. https://videos.med.wisc.edu/videos/32540
Which mean there is a link between the development of brain and the immune system.
Which bring me to this question for those who are on the spectrum. If someone know the rate for the general population, feel free to post it for the sake of comparaison. By definition it's a biaised poll, but I guess it's the only way I got.

For me, I don't got asthma or official allergy. It's possible that I'm allergic to cats. :( But I can't be sure.

I don't have allergies or asthma, but I have an autoimmune disease that causes local and global inflammation.

I also have "allergies", which are caused by me not liking certain foods, so I say that I am "allergic" to them to avoid others pressuring me to eat them.

I don't have asthma, and I saw an allergist and he did the standard pin prick test to test for allergies and none of them reacted.

I'm having some sort of allergic reaction anyway though. Since January of this year, every time my body gets warm, be it through exercise, emotions, or warm rooms (even showers and blankets), I break out in little hives on my arms and stomach and it feels like pins are stabbing me and gets very itchy.

It presents exactly like Cholinergic Urticaria, but the allergist was hesitant to call it that because I don't always get the hives, and according to him my skin would need to be red too but it doesn't get red until I scratch.

I don't know what to do about this problem. It's really uncomfortable, especially since summer is coming and I don't have air conditioning. I'm prickly/itchy right now.

I have pretty bad seasonal allergies. I've been sick now for a week & half. :/

Not to go all Daily Mail...but don't ALL people have asthma or allergies these days?

I suspect I'm asthmatic - I was as a child, went years without needing an inhaler or coughing (despite being a smoker) but in the past year or so I've been struggling to breathe, things like walking up stairs gets me puffed-out so I'm either asthmatic or having a heat attack every time.

As a child I had very bad pollen allergies (not sure specifically which kind though). Thankfully I grew out of it by my mid teens.

Allergies, but mine mostly developed as an adult, in my 30s and later. They're not very many, and other than a little hay fever and a problem with angora, they're oddball things, like the one to the material soft contact lenses are made of, and a few chemical sensitivities - detergent, some perfumes and cosmetics. Oh - and cinnamon, but only in strong amounts.

Can't say I have any prominent allergies. I suspect that I am mildly allergic to coriander (the taste literally makes me gag) and I have a mild milk/cheese allergy i.e. it makes me stuffed up, sweaty forehead, and tired for a while after if I consume too much.

I have several allergies. They are mostly minor, but annoying. The worst is the one to cheese (casein). It causes wax build up in my ears--yes, it can do that, but even worse, it causes my sinuses to drip more down my throat, which makes me cough. Unfortunately, I really like cheese, and I also need it for calcium. I tried calcium tablets, but they irritated my intestines. I have IBS, so I had to stop taking them. I don't really care much for milk, and that also causes throat phlegm, so I might as well eat the cheese, which I prefer. I just hate the phlegm, though. It gets worse, though! Even minor changes in climate, like going from one room to another, or going from standing to sitting/sitting to standing, also cause this problem. Also, foods that generate heat, like pepper cause it, too. It's not an allergy to the pepper, just a reaction to the change in internal climate caused by the pepper heat.

I don't know of anything that can eliminate the excess phlegm dripping down the back of my throat, and making me cough, so I am stuck with this nasty problem. :(

Bad mold allergy. Like, real bad. When I was 9 I started having really bad coughing fits. Coughing up blood was a regular occurence. Was in the hospital for a month. They couldn't figure out what was causing it. At about the three week mark, once it was mostly under control, they let me go home for a day to see if that made it flare up again. It did. Turned out there was mold in the walls of my bedroom. Even now if I'm around a significant amount of mold, even for a little while, I'll still be coughing my lungs up days later.

It's funny you mention that now. Last fall I got a really bad cold, I lost my voice and I had a bad cough. My cough never really quite went away. I also have a hard time breathing properly. My family has 2 dogs and a cat. About one month ago I started developing really bad hives all over my body and my cough has been getting progressively worse. It sucks because I love animals but I can't be around my dogs anymore because my allergies and asthma are so bad. I've never had allergies or asthma my whole life and then all of a sudden after a bad cold they appear.

The hives bother me a lot, I've tried Benedryl, Aerious, Gold Bond Powder, Lanacane spray and different lotions. I've tried mixing oatmeal and corn startch with water to make a paste and I've tried toothpaste. The things that work the best are toothpaste and Lanacane spray but they're still not 100%. I can't just get rid of the dogs because they're my mother's pets and I love them as well. Has anyone tried something that really helps with any of my symptoms. Oh, I've also tried a blue puffer that my friend gave me which doesn't work either.
