I saw this article last night, and I thought it looked like the perfect example for an Aspie resturant/bar/club/social club/whatever.

One Romulan Ale and some Tesla fries, coming up.

...trouble is, that it's apparently geek-chique and therefore apparently the novelty factor and professed "coolness" of it will mean it's packed...an Aspie nightmare!

I don't see the bar as "geek", I see it "full of stuff that is very trendy now".

Full of French hipsters in 3, 2, 1...

Beautiful bookcase and funny details, though. Nice find.

I'm very classic, I'm yet trying to find a "Cheers" bar!

Francois Launet, who does the Unspeakable Vault (of Doom) webcomic, did a piece on the cthulu wall design. He put a link in to the wired article the other day. If you're not familar with his website, Warning: cartoon depiction of violence.

The bar is meant to be a "geek" bar, I don't know enough about France to tell you if they succeeded.

I think a bar full of aspies would be wonderful, through unlikely outside of a very dense location of aspies.

It would be cool if WrongPlanet was a place you can go and live. Not just a bar.

I wonder how much everybody would have to donate so that such a city would be built - just for autists...

Depends how big you're talking about. I have that very discussion thread on the activism forum.
