I have such a limited feeling of certain stimuli that they are almost non existent.

Let me explain some :

I rarely feel thirsty and approach drinking in a logical way, I remember to drink if I exercise or it is very hot.
I feel hunger but only for a brief period and the only thing that lasts is physical pain of a rumbling stomach.

Temperatures are the same for me, especially with cold which I do not feel at all except for some body parts going
numb, sometimes I get off my bike and I am surprised by my fingers being unusable.
For heat it is only that i get tired faster which I assume is not drinking anywhere near enough in preparation.
My friends once dared me to come to school in just a tee-shirt when it snowed.

I also do not feel tired, except when i first wake up, and going to bed has never been a pleasurable experience, I feel
I don't need to unless I have been up for a very long time and my mind is constantly racing. I often stay up for a long time
especially when I am busy with social contact, this is because I need alone time to recharge and this is different to sleep.

Anyone else share these things or experience anything else?

I relate to what you said about hunger, thanks for speaking up about that. :) I hope these things don't bother you too much, or end up being too detrimental to your health.

I consider them to be an advantage in many respects I always hear people moaning about these things.

I don't feel it can detriment my health, I know to do all of these things and when I eat or drink I have far more than I may need.

I often have the same with hunger, I only notice it when I'm already really hungry.

Doctors and parents always say I should drink more too, it could indeed be that I drink too little.

I used to never get thirsty, but I have started to feel thirsty frequently beginning about five years ago.

What I have trouble with now though is knowing when I'm sick. I always need other people to tell me when to go to a doctor or the hospital. I have to just about be on my deathbed to know that something is wrong with me.

I am really interested in the sickness issues you described, could you perhaps explain it in more detail for me?

I don't know if I'm thirsty, hungry, or dirty. Like ever. I'll get a hunger headache and then I'll know. I could go days absorbed in a special interest while only eating a few snacks.

Everything else like sleeping and actual pain and stuff I notice. I'm always tired.

Yes, not feeling some sensations, not feeling enough pain or discomfort in some cases, is a classic symptom of Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), which is highly related to autism and Asperger's.

There are people who can help with it, like occupational therapists, or rewiring your brain with trauma processing.

I can usually tell that I just don't feel well, but others always have to tell me that I look like I am in very bad shape or having serious symptoms, because I don't even notice it.

For example, I had heat exhaustion this past summer and I couldn't get up and walk long enough to get home, so I called my friend and told him about it... and he told me, "Dude, if you can't stand up, then you need to call an ambulance!"

Thanks,
as I understand what your are saying, you misinterpret the severity of the feeling as opposed to not feeling anything.
