I was originally aiming to be a Psychologist, but that all failed with the fact that I ended up with the worst teachers possible. Now a college dropout at the age of 23 and I was considering becoming an airline pilot, but ADHD is the one conidition that is an automatic disqualifier besides Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Cerebral Palsy or Epilepsy which throws that dream out of the door. This leaves me to work up to become a YouTube partner by finding some talent (which I will need to get off of medication for) or finding a way to become a lawyer which will be nearly impossible unless I stop taking medication (which I need in order to not be disruptive). What have you majored in or what are you going to major in?

Oh, I know a wonderful lawyer who could well have been ADHD, maybe a dash of hypomania - don't know - he had something going on, and it was part and parcel of what made him wonderful. If you want to go that route - take philosophy - that's a step to law and journalism.

I am majoring in General Humanities with a minor in Linguistics. Language and cognition are my special-special interests (all is bound up in my beloved: Theory). My disciplinary streams are currently art, philosophy, and English (I am not big on the literature itself, as for "reading just to read" - I love analytical essays and again - theory). I do believe I will change my major to philosophy - I am at a good point to do so if I choose. I am a late blooming student as I am middle aged and had never had a university experience before. I love it!

The time I tried to go to college I took math/science. They didn't have science only at the time at my community college. They do now.

That was a mistake. I'm so bad at math I was in a remedial prealgabra class. That degree required a couple of calculus classes. Also chemistry lab scares me. Plus even if I went 2 years and got the degree I had no plans to get a job with it.
