I want to start a support/community group on my campus for those of us students who have autism or another neurological or learning disability.

Has anyone done something similar? How would I go about doing this? Any ideas?

:D

I also want to do this. Not entirely sure what to do either. I may talk to the lady in my psychology department who is sort of like my mentor/support person about it. o.O

I'm not sure how many people on the spectrum we actually have at my Uni though, which might be the 'stumbling block' as it were.

EstherJ, It might help if you mentioned what country you're in, that might improve the advice that people give you.

America.

Good old United States.

It doesn't matter how many of us there are. Just a small group is better than none.

ASAN and ANI have had involvment with University-related groups. I would suggest e-mailing them, but I don't have anyone's detailed contact information.
