Social anxiety, which causes me a great deal of trouble in school and with confronting teachers, relatives and even old friends. I don't think I have general anxiety, though.

How long did you take them? Increased suicidal thoughts are not uncommon in the first few weeks, especially for people under 25. Of course, if you took them for longer than that and still had problems, then you absolutely made the right decision to stay off of them. I'm just curious, and hope you're okay.
