Hi... It's me nintendofan/autisticNintendofan (my YouTube page if you want to chat)

Just posting this then leaving again. I haven't been on here since I left.

I suvere self injourous behaviour I hit my head with my hands

I also use a AAC device (go talk 20) to talk and go to speech therapy (and learn to do things like cook my food and wash dishes as well as spell and count) at a special education college.

Anyway

New vocal stim

I just went watch new movie wreck it ralph

I am mostly non-verbal

Since watch movie I shout "I'm GONNA WRECK IT!! !" Then "I CAN FIX IT!!" Over and over This is everywhere, on bus, street, shopping

I herd someone say "rain man" and some people behind me "if they are special they should have a badge on or something"

My sister kept laughing when I did it

I really like wreck it ralph (and ralph himself...)

I do other vocal stim like saying "cookie" "cook-ie" over and over or "ice cream" "iceee cream" over and over or "no, no, nooo, no, no-ow, no" over and over.

I mostly vocal stim while rocking back and forward

I don't control my autistic behaviour
My stimming
or self injourous behaviours
And people often laugh or say mean things
I have to wear ear defenders a lot of the time (I can't wear ear plug)

If people have a problem with your behavior - it is them that needs a hefty dose of humility and life lesson. I am teaching myself to wear less masks now - it is so exhausting to constantly try and be appropriate. So I am letting them down. If I want to stim - I stim.

If you didn't have need of your behaviors and stims - I am sure you would not do them. By the way - Rain man (the real one, the one the movie was based on) was/is epicly awesome. I have been around someone who self injured and vocal stim as describe - I have to admit it made me a bit uncomfortable and sad. But I did NOT think mean things or say anything. I just wished there was an easier life for them. It also makes me realize that even with all my own issues and difficulties, I could have it way worse.

Keep your head up. I am glad you enjoy gaming and movies :) Wreck it Ralph was a real fun movie for sure!

My mom got mad at me if i broke something when i lived at home and i really didn't want to break others' stuff. Only i would break my own. Out of respect for my mom and my grandmother who owned the house. I would rather hit myself than break their house. I have respect for my family.

I know where you live you announced it. I had mentioned it in my post. Different countries work different work different ways.
It looked like an abandoned house when compared to the video of your bedroom, which is super tidy! So maybe you are doing better in not destroying your bedroom?

Don't get me wrong, i am not judging you for breaking things, i do that myself. So why would i judge someone else who breaks things?
I wouldn't. However i have gotten a lot better about not breaking things over time. I tend to break electronics.

Ok

I recently took a secondary job at a factory and run a CNC lathe (I named her Penny). I just started to realize that I actually sing while working (usually songs by In Extremo, das Ich and Front 242) and talk to the machines (I work much more efficiently and quickly doing this). It's strange, but nobody can hear me. :)

I do. I hadn't identified it as a stim until just now reading the thread. Just something I do. Have always done.

I have made-up words, you see. Words that I have invented that I will say to myself; loudly if I am in a place where no one will hear me (in my car, for instance), or in my head if there are people around. I use them sort of in the way most people would use curse words, i guess.

I would be terribly embarrassed if anyway were to overhear me do this. Which is strange, now that I think about it, as I normally do not embarrass easily, even about mental illness related personal things. But this... i would not even be comfortable telling my therapist my invented words. i will not write them here. :?
