Diagnosing
Hi,
I am going for an assesment for inattentive adhd soon as I just always been low focused, disorganised, mood swings, lose things, random/ocd thoughts, had trouble riding a bike and still not very good now so tend to avoid it and tieing shoelaces but very good at things like ict, english.
I am a bit anxious but I have always made friends and been able to make conversations, I sometimes get a bit edgy walking in the street but Its cos I feel tired/stressed most of the time.
I have tried concerta 36 off someone before once and it was amazing how clear I felt, I didn't feel like I had a burst of energy I felt normal throughout the day and had more of a will to get things done like tidying and washing up.
I have dropped out of college twice and lost 2 jobs because of being disorganised ,late e.t.c, doctors tried me on gabapentin which helped for a bit but then made me paranoid and alot more tired after about 6 months.
Also I think I have some asperges traits as I tend to listen to same songs over and over and stay into routines and just read into loadsa stuff on the internet but then I get bored of one thing and move onto another and then think maybe I should do something else like play a game instead of reading, I download a game play for about 2mins think f**k this and go back to listening to some music.
Should I tell the psych someone gave me concerta, I have tried lots of anti depressants aswell of doctors and the only things which have helped me felt relief ever were tramadol which was prescribed after an operation , or any decongestants seem to give me a bit more energy and improve confidence as I had bad sinusitis at one point.
