I Consider myself as a person of "broad" horizons
Likewise, generally so broad people cannot take the full view in one go as most people only see their point of view and ignore uncomfortable truths whereas i just cut through and lay it out bare. I'm often tottaly misunderstood because people are narrow minded and only give the most immediate interpretation to what i say.
For example i prefer to communicate by writing like emails and forums as it gives me time to hone on exactly what i want to say and reread many times until it is perfect, something that I can't do in speech as once it's out that is it. My "writing skills" got some appreciation at work and apparently contributed to my promotion, but maybe they misinterpreted my overall skills due to me having that one (no one would have known how long i spent on some emails that got a favorable result for the company but then being bold as brass too in what I had to say despite after much reviewing making sure it was "poloite" resolved many a problem - I was a quality inspector)
