I've heard asexual masturbation is sometimes a stim on the spectrum, especially among girls, and that's one of the few occasions where stimming is actually a problem. But yeah, that's definitely not a special interest. I really dislike how stimming and special interests are in the same section of the DSM, as they really aren't related other than both being symptoms of autism.
