Recently I feel something like a weird anxiety just before going asleep, and now I'm so exhausted. Always I was able to cope with it easy, but it made harder few weeks ago. Any ideas how I can fall asleep faster?

I had problems sleeping after I went through chemo a while back. The docs gave me several prescriptions, but they all had side effects that I couldnt take. A friend suggested Advil PMs and they work really well... for me.

I have talked about my sleeping problems before, but...
I had numerous sleep issues, nightmares. insomnia, sleepwalking throughout my childhood. Some have persisted over the decades, but a lot of that is from always having jobs that involve shifts. Often I end up working swing or graveyard shifts, which just does awful things to your biological clock. Usually try Tylenol PM or Somminex but light & sound are issues with me so sleeping in the day was often nearly impossible.

Sincerely,
Matthew

I've heard it's common for autistic people to have sleep problems. Racetam drugs have provided some temporary relief for me, but it remains to be seen whether the effects will be permanent.

I've always had sleep problems. From not being able to fall asleep usually. Once i am asleep i can sleep well usually. I am hard to wake up a lot it takes several tries.
Yet falling asleep is a major problem. It's like my brain isn't tired enough to sleep.
In the past my sister had me taking melatonin which helped at the time, yet i can't take it anymore.

Also doctors in the past had me on Ambien which helped, yet they took me off of it.

My sleep is erratic and i need to try to keep a more steady sleep schedule so i don't want up afternoon and am awake in the mornings.

I can't take over the counter as it inhibits my breathing.. i miss the ambien.
Even Klonopin won't knock me out or help. So when i am able to fall asleep right away or relatively quickly i am grateful.
