What is your idealized version of yourself while still being an aspie.

For example.

I wanna be more of a renaisannce man. I guess sophistication is the basic concept.

I want to start eating a certain way by cooking italian, indian, and muslim foods.

I want to start learning other languages such as hindi, latin, and madarin.

I want to start learning more about religion and philosophy. More importantly I want to start following my philosophies.

I'm hoping to get myself in better shape, playing more soccer, and hopefully get better at meditation.

Finally my favorite interest I want to composing instrumental songs.

I want to be an Aspie with less self-awareness (naturally), so that I won't get upset when people stare at me.

The more self serving, self confident, driven motivated type that works tirelessly at achieving my goals vs. the scattered unfocused and self defeating type that lacks confidence. I've come a long way from the latter towards the former & continue to work on everything, day by day.

Although I certainly have no ambitions of becoming the egotistical God-complex CEO type. Forget that, it's not for me. That would be swinging the pendulum far too far in the other direction, IMO. I'd prefer a balance somewhere in between. Physically/mentally/spiritually healthy and happy with an abundance of _________ vs. scrambling around in a life of scarcity. So far so good on making the transition!

The kind who spends most of time in own world of basement lab thinking about one topic, but can interface with offworlders when needed.

The one who breaks the supposed barriers of what an Aspie "should be". I like to push boundaries. I want to be a compassionate helper/healer type who bridges ASD professionals and the ASD community together.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

I want to be more in tune with the real world, not all that society crap people refer to as the real world....but the elements, the plants. trees, animals, energies, awesome land formations ect. As for what I would want to do I think herbalism seems pretty awesome. I got a large variety of herbs at vitamin cottage which I've been experimenting with for tea, but I would like to eventually learn to make tinctures and whatever else one can make with herbs.

But yeah maybe a bit more confidence, not feeling like I will fail at everything I attempt and better able to be somewhat assertive and better able to actually pursue intrests and ideas I have. Rather then feeling totally lost and like the future is totally bleak regardless of what I want or what steps I take to try and get there...and half the time I have no idea what I would want in life I just know its not exactly what this society typically offers.

This. I'm constantly reminding myself it's never just black and white. Happiness is a warm shade of gray, I guess.

I mainly have lists of day to day tasks that I need to get done - that's about as goal-orientated as I get on a daily basis

Ideally I would like to lose 3 stone in weight and be able to look so 'normal' that I blend in with people to the extent they
don't notice me, so I could go where I liked without the stress of people making me feel I didn't fit in

That would be my ultimate ideal

In terms of improving my mind I'm already doing that on a daily basis anyway with all the online research I do on various subjects

My personality, knowledge and intelligence side is generally ok; it's mainly the outside that needs improving

Emotional intelligence needs a lot of improvement too so I don't get worked up about things that don't matter

Ultimately I'd like the ability be completely stoic in the face of anything that happened to me

I also see myself as a person who can use my own bad experiences to help others going though a hard time, to show them that these things can be endured and things can get better

I see this as a very important reason for staying alive ie to give hope and support to others

I want to be a scientist. I want to learn lots of new things, and put them together to make new ideas. I want to talk to people who know interesting things, to learn from them and teach them the interesting things I know.

I want to be able to ask for and use help. I know I will always be disabled, but I also know that when I get help, I can give back just as much as I take. I want to know myself and my abilities and know how to fill in the gaps that need to be filled.

I want to change the world. I want to teach people about how to live with those who are different. I think I am qualified to do this because I live with those who are different from me every day. I want to create a world where everyone can contribute, not just those with the usual skill set.

I would call most people onworlders (or realworlders?). I find the chasm between what people say and what they mean incomprehensible, and want to hide a lot of the time.

Richer than I am & has money 8)

Perhaps more androgynous & with 'tougher' skin which does not react as bad to shaving.

Speaks multiple languages & more dialects (i.e. can speak more hood than I can, or speak like a redneck white american, etc)
