The one biggest thing that bugs me about people on this site is the fact that they're always ready to put the label of abnormality on themselves just because the NT majority rules. When they feel passionate love, they tell themselves that they're obsessed. When they're inconvenienced, they tell themselves that they're being a pain in the neck. There is an NT spectrum as well as an asperger/autistic spectrum. I truly believe that this is almost like saying that there are two species of people. The NT will not be the majority for long. A gradual change is taking place. NT's see us as abnormal. I see them as abnormal. I sat in a beauty salon waiting almost an hour for a simple haircut and got a headache from these five women who didn't even know each other. Mindless, absolutely meaningless chatter like monkeys for the entire time. Big colored lips smacking, big cigarette stained teeth grinning and grinning, just noise no meaning whatsoever. I felt like throwing up. And the competition! Comparing their kids! EWW!! Yak, yak, yak. A nightmare. It is said that aspies are lonely. Maybe it's by choice. When they (aspies) get a little love, of course they are going to go into overdrive. Their bodies are getting a chemical that they seldom get in small doses - this being made by the body of course. NT's get doses of this chemical in small doses all the time - that's why they are like monkeys - for this chemical. Unfortunately, they are in the majority right now but not for always. The world is put together for them. That's why it is important for an aspie to be around people who share their common interests - preferably other aspies. They NEED to be around their own species to have a healthy biology...to generate the "happy" chemical. NT's are bad for us as well as we are bad for them. We can't generate that happy chemistry for them and they clearly can't do it for us. We can respect each other but we can't have emotional intimacy with them. A bad mix. There is no such thing as a hybrid (NT/AS). Either you are more or less NT or more or less AS. Any resemblance to a hybrid is from this individual being brainwashed into acting and being someone they are NOT. Yes, a NT and a AS can reproduce but it will NOT be a hybrid. It's more or less one OR the other.

what is the definition of an NT because it seems you are painting all NTs with the same brush which is unfair.

I like your rant.

Love the accurate description of the yakking women in the hairdressers! :smurfin: (only female emoticon) :wall: (how you felt).

Hairdressers are one of the worst places.

Just yesterday at the shop where I go during the week to get myself away from triggers and earn a bit of cash from time to time, the owner was telling a customer "this place is like a barber shop, you just want to keep coming back and hanging out". That's all fine and dandy, but with all the counterproductivity that goes on as it is the last thing I want to deal with are more mouths yakking, smoking and drinking away. Thank God for test rides, at least on the road all the knuckleheads are sealed off in their glass and steel bubbles and I'm not forced to verbally acknowledge them. Yup, today was nearly a total burnout but I managed to get something accomplished

I also like your rant and that's the perfect example of the female NTs that I've encountered during my lifetime. It drives me crazy when they talk to each other about how perfect their kids are, when I was hanging out with them. Perfection is also one of my biggest pet peeves. I broke away from that crowd after 6 months because I was fed up.
