Does oxytocin always cause memory loss?

Ugh. It's bad. Working memory and multi-tasking down catastrophically after using the nasal spray (maybe a little too much). I wonder if this is like a "reverse placebo" effect that will go away, or if it's a required side effect.

I have never heard of oxytocin causing memory loss, but I think if you're getting that side effect, you should stop taking it. If it was prescription, talk to your doctor about it. Memory loss is a serious side effect that can really hamper your ability to cope with life.

Honestly i'd stop taking that stuff, I never have used it myself however I know too meny people who are now addicted to that stuff, regular people who I never would have thought of having a drug issue.

Are you sure that was oxytocin? Oxycontin is a drug with addictive properties... oxytocin is a hormone supplement... They often get mixed up.
